Skynet Ships Mini-Apps and Rolls Out Collective Memory to Teams

SAN FRANCISCO: Skynet today launched mini-apps, purpose-built tools that produce a finished deliverable rather than another chat thread, and extended collective memory to every Teams and Enterprise workspace.

Mini-apps

A chat window is a poor interface for work with a known shape. Building a customer persona, reviewing a contract for risk, cleaning a spreadsheet, or repurposing a piece of content are all repeatable jobs with a repeatable output.

Mini-apps give each of those its own interface. GenStudio takes a brief and returns finished creative. The contract risk review returns a marked-up document. Dashboard and document tools return the dashboard and the document. The output is the artefact, not a transcript you still have to act on.

Collective memory

Teams and Enterprise workspaces now share one knowledge layer. What one person teaches the workspace is available to everyone in it, which means the second person to ask a question does not have to re-explain the company to get a useful answer.

Admins get selective memory controls, so shared context can be scoped rather than being all-or-nothing.
