Skills
A skill is a reusable automation, built from something you actually do, not a template you configure up front. The Copilot watches how work flows, notices when you repeat the same task the same way, and proposes turning it into a skill.
How a skill gets built
- It spots the pattern. The Copilot notices repetition, like the same weekly report or the same reply typed a dozen times.
- It proposes the fix. It names the exact task and sketches what the skill would do; nothing is built until you say yes.
- It builds it into your workspace. Approve it, and the skill is wired into the tools and agents you already use. Next time the task comes up, it’s handled.
You authorize what it builds: the Copilot proposes, you approve, and you can edit or retire any skill it creates.
Shared on Teams and Enterprise
On the Teams and Enterprise plans, skills are shared alongside memory: once one person’s Copilot builds a skill, it’s available to the rest of the team rather than staying personal to them. See choosing a plan for how this compares across tiers.
